Hello,

Thank you for stopping by…

I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself and what value I hope to bring you with this blog & newsletter.

My name is Ayesha Tariq, CFA. I am a mother, a daughter, a banker. I love coffee, reading and rain. Now, let’s get down to business…

I never dreamed of a career in finance… and then I ended up in Corporate Banking. I worked with multi-billion dollar companies as a lender – learning to understand their business and finding value in their numbers. From there I went on to a private family business managing a portfolio of over $1billion in real estate, hospitality and private & public equities.

Why am I telling you this? Because even though I never wanted to work in the financial industry, I realize now that I could never dream of leaving it.

The World of Finance can be fun & interesting, and I hope to bring some of that to you.

Over the past 17 years, I've analyzed hundreds of companies - reading balance sheets and income statements is second-nature to me.

What’s the one thing I’ve learned?

There's always a story behind the numbers.

I hope you will consider subscribing.
